current cinema listings.
« on: April 19, 2010, 20:38:13 »
anyone got any recomendations?

I am not a film buff by many many means. I want to take my ex lodger out for an evening out as she said the other day she doesnt get a chance to wear her dresses much or get dolled up and as I am actually about this saturday I might as well treat her. she was the best lodger in the world after all.

Cemetary junction or date night looks good to me. she said good grief to clash of the titans and dear john sounded a bit sloppy!

I am useless in films and fall asleep due to my dyslexia as I cant keep track of what goes on so comedies are good as I have a fighting chance of staying awake! lol

Have a look at your local listings then have a read up on IMDB.com for an idea if they float your boat.

We use wikipedia to see what it's about, then yahoo movies to watch the trailer and look at
the user reviews. Ignore the critics reviews.

I enjoyed Shutter Island (didn't watch it in cinema though), it's a Drama bordering horror. But recommend not looking it up online as it will spoil twisty.

Been months since I've seen it, but that plot twist you speak of is really very confusing. Seeing Elvis disembarking
a Nazi UFO riding Shergar would have been moderately more understandable (and believable).
