Yes, it's amusing when they are caught off guard, but maybe she was as he described. I haven't seen the whole thing. Anyone else who makes a comment like this wouldn't make the news. Don't get me wrong.... the phrase 'pot calling the kettle black' springs to mind!

Can't stand G.Brown but not sure he done anything wrong there.   Now if the mike picked him up having a private conversation in lizard tongue with the mothership then that would be news worthy rather than this clear campaign mud slinging.

Doesn't matter, he's the figure head of the country and as such needs to be on gaurd and aware 100% of the time. Slips like this just high light his incompetence. The other ones just jumping on it, yeah pot kettle black... it's not like that slime bucket cameron is exactly perfect either.

I bet the writers of Yes, Prime Minister are kicking themselves that they never thought of this one!

Hmmm...If it was cameron ,it might have gone something like this :  The sooner we get rid of the nhs and the state pension the fewer of the whingeing old coffin dodgers like that we'll have to look after .

Classic picture!

Don't you think he just looks tired of it all generally? The others seem far more upbeat all the time... at least publicly anyway.
