brake reservoir removal and clean ?
« on: May 22, 2010, 20:37:42 »
I have been having issues with the brakes recently on my 300 TDI Disco (1995). Anyway, decided to flush the system with new fluid, and whilst at it fit the extended hoses i have had for some time.

Replaced hoses today (a whole lot of pain), brake reservoir is now empty, except for a load of "sludge" in the bottom.

So, can i, and if so how, remove the brake fluid reservoir, clean it out and put it back, before i start to bleed the system tomorrow?

Cheers in advance.
