hello there

im about to put some items on ebay but when i tried its asking for bank details?

even though ive bought using ebay and have used paypal and credit card to do purchases

why the bank info?

to pay the selling fees ?????

you should be able to do it with pay pal

its normal that ebay will take bank info for seller fees they charge
best advice I would give thouigh is if you have any doubt DONT DO IT
you can pay on to ebay with bank/credit card (or you used to be able to) like a pay as you go phone to pay listing fees

right so where do i opt to pay via paypal rather than bank

dont like giving out bank details at the best of times.

If it helps you feel a little better eBay have had my bank details for
a couple of years now, Never had any problems with them. :wink:

yeah same here
a couple of time have used my bank info to get payments from overseas buyers.
I spoke to bank first and they said that basicly if all you give is
(1) sort code
(2)account number
(3)branch address
its nothing more than will apear on a normal bank cheque anyway and you give those to stangers everytime you make a cheque payment

thats good to know i've just set up an ebay and paypal account and was wondering if it was safe i was going to open a new account at the bank just for ebay sounds like i don't have to now. :lol:

ive put in my bank details but after that it asks me how i want to trade so i chose my CC anyway which was good.
