Help, please..P38a

Hi guys & gals,
After a break from Landy ownership of nearly 2 years, i'm back with a P38 DSE Auto. :D
Only had it since the weekend, and have got a problem already. :(
The wife came home at dinner time, and said that the lights were switched on, so went out to the car, blipped the remote
and the lights went out. Only problem is that I can't open the drivers door, or the rear door (boot) :?
The car starts ok, and drives. (I had put another battery on, when I got it) so key is recognised.
Does anyone have any ideas of things I should be checking etc please.
My local LR indy was closed tonight, so am on my own on this at the moment.
Thanks,

Is it just not opening on the remote, or does the key not work either

It could be a flat battery, have a look through the window to see if the clock is still running, if not thats the trouble

The boot is wired via the drivers door solenoid.
Either the solenoid, or the wiring to it. You'll need a wiring diagram to track it down, but should be relatively painless to sort once you've found it.

Thanks for that Andy, spoke to my indy garage today, sounds like it might be an ecu fault £OUCH! 8-[
Got up in the night and the lights were on again, went off when you use the remote to unlock motor.
Going to see him 2moro, will give the verdict then.
Car won't start now, says theres an alarm fault. (happy days....NOT)
