thinking of putting 50mm spring spaces on 200tdi discovery can i get away with standard shocks not bothered bout axle twist just need car bit higher and cant aford full lift kit

That is exactly what i am doing, got the spacers, was trying to get it sorted today but other things cropped up. When i can afford the +2 springs and shocks i will leave the spacer to raise it further.

you will get away with the same springs but im prety sure your going to need plus 2'' shocks

You will need +2 shocks and possibly longer bump stops. You may also need longer brake hoses.

1996 Discovery 300TDI. She's got it where it counts...

And it will handle like cack.  Standard, tired out springs with the body wallowing about an extra 2" above them :shock:

Depending what shocks you have, the replacement shocks I have bought for the fornt are longer than OEM anyway (big problem for EAS).
