Been rebuilding the engine in the landy, It's alive again!  :D
Only one minor setback, nasty drumming noise coming from the air intake, down to incorrect tappet clearance now sorted.

Put the wind up me when it decided to start firing on all four, was running on three cylinders for a bit, nasty crack and a puff of smoke when it kicked in to life, thought a something broke. Run's nicely though.

 Just finished now.
Regards
Matthew

:D I went over the Pennines this morning to meet Rich and collect DPGs diff, weather was funny. Left Manchester in clear sunshine but when i approached the top ( Saddleworth Moors ), thick fog everywere and it didnt clear till i got to Hartsheadmoor Services. O.H and they decided it would be a good idea to close two lanes of the M62 east bound    so sorry Rich if you were waiting too long.

Got back gave DPG his diff, then went home and started pulling down my old garrage and chopping the old Apple tree down and general garden clearing...    Now haveing a couple off Whiskys.  :D

HAPPY St GEORGES DAY EVERYONE.  :D
