Wiper issue's
« on: July 24, 2010, 13:55:18 »
Hi guys & gals, On my disco i have found a fault with the front wipers. If I hit the stalk down it moves the wipers but when i let go it stops. ie the wipers can stay in the middle of the sweep. I am just after some advise to find out how to clear this fault. Would i be right in a dodgy relay??

any help would be appreciated.

Regards.

Self park, or lack of it.  Could be dodgy switch or motor which has the self park mechanism.

I used to have similar issues, swapped the motor in the end which cured it.
