Pollen filter
« on: August 07, 2010, 20:57:04 »
Hi all
Just dona a Service on my Freebi and in the kit was a Pollen filter, checked my book and doesn't say were it is located. Some websites say Freebies that have a/c don't have pollen filters, I thought all motors had them now?????? :? :? :? :? :? :?

My car is a 1998 2ltr XEDI Freebi  (Rover Engine)

Thanks in advance

Ours is a TD4 X reg, it has aircon and a pollen filter, too dark to look out there tonight , but i think its located from the n/side passengers front footwell area, kinda comes out from under the dash in a vertical style, possibly a couple of bolts holding a cover in place ??  hopr this guides you to the right area, if not ill have a looky tomorrow for you
TD5 with a few Tweaks ;o)
a bit more fuel friendly than the V8

I serviced a slightly later one at work the other day and it was in the passenger footwell. Peer up in there and it was the lowest point in the middle of the foot well 4x 7mm screws i think held it in can't miss it.
My wife can't wrestle but you should see her box.
