Ripped mine off greenlaning at night, drove into a bush

Nice steel one, rather tougher than a bit of PVC pipe.

Anyway, I'll see if I can find it for you Kizz.

I have a mantec one on my V8. Don't think i have bashed it that much to find out how tough it is though. Most of the dents appear to be in the drivers side.

Don't knock a piece of plastic pipe......cheap and has stood up to many hours of serious playing.  If it does fall foul....you will still have the other half of the pipe you bought and no big replacement bills.

I wouldn't knock them, Until halfway through a mudhole and it gets caught on something and detaches itself.

i would go for a proper one, call me a mr looks person but the drain pipe look would irritate me,
the plan is to make a overland rangy, take it across to mongolia or somthing like that in a year or two so it would need to be strong and reliable

Then you need a steel pipe, plastic will become brittle with age and discolour.

Hello mate,
I bought a series 3 snorkle,
convexed the plate to fit the Scuttle board side and fitted to the side,
fixed the pipe to the window frame,
then fitted plastic piping to the air intake under the bonnet.

It took a little bit of [!Expletive Deleted!] about but looks great.

PM me and I can send you some photos.
Cheers...Ron.
