What gearbox ?

My Def 90 with disco 200tdi conversion  still has the original box ,what is the best box to fit ? everyday transport and laneing is its diet , thoughts everyone,??

either leave the lt77 in or
if you want a nicer box but aint scared of abit of work, fit a defender r380 in which will push the engine 5 inches forwards leaving enough room to use the origional disco downpipe.
much nicer gearbox for everyday use, and i never manage to break one when i changed over from lt77 boxes which i kept breaking  :P

Another alternative but a bit pricey is a R380 short from ashcroft transmissions, I put one in my 200tdi a few months ago, it's a direct replacement for a LT77 with no alterations
