Never mind a safety line, I'd want a parachute from that height!

I like the bit of commentary right near the end when he says "now, this is the tricky bit!"

I don't mind heights, it's wobbly ladders and a lack of a solid working platform with handrails I can't cope with. I was quite happy on the open viewing deck at the top of the Eiffel Tower but won't touch a 15' ladder which sways.

i erect scaffold hoists, you can go upto 10 meters in some of them before you have to tie them in to the scaff, the mast for the hoist is triangular and each side is approx 12" and the basket is 2m sq, we did a 56m one the otherday, wall mounted so no scaff around you....that was nice :D the track is 48kg per section and when we put the last one on as we lifted it the wind nearly blew it oput of our hands!

when i did my first one i said i diddnt doeights and they said " you will, they will break you....or you will *@!& off"

I think I winced and had to catch my breath with every other step. I just couldn't stop watching it though.
Think I had better lay down.

"now it's just another 60 feet"
Sod that, I wouldn't climb 60m feet.

It takes all sorts.

I'm with you Woody.

STUFF THAT FOR A GAME OF SOLDIERS!!!

When i was training as a boy soldier, I was told to get up a trinasium, which was a kind of giant monkey bar construction. The PTI tried allsorts to get me up the 20ft or so, but I refused. He started messing my platoon members about, and then ended up charging me with refusing an order. I took myself off to jail rather than climb the 20ft.

Hats off to that guy in vid.
