try frank pickles, saw them on another thread on here the other day, tried them and got my insurance down from 600 to 226!!!! only for modified 4x4s and they take no account of your no claims
I've heard that some insurers are frantically trying to get rid of people they consider a high risk, usually by loading their premium to a ridiculous level come renewal time.I'm with Adrian Flux, no complaints, mods declared, have parents down as named drivers and 3rd party cover to drive other vehicles. I forget the exact premium but it was similar to muddyjames' quote.
The greenlane cover struck me as a bit of a cheek - you're covered for lanes anyway, they're roads!Insurers definitely abuse the fact that it's a legal requirement.

Insurance companies are businesses. They are there to make a profit for the shareholders. The difference is that their products, in cases like car cover, are compulsory.
aye its a rip off, theyve got it sussed here in sweden its the vehicle thats insured for any driver not like there its the driver if the driver is under 25 than you have to tell them than you pay a little extra there is also no points system if you get caught doing something like excessive speed thenyou will get a fine then if its a scary speed you may lose your licence for a few weeks, you have the same sort of cover here you get full ,half insurance, third party etc ,i was paying about
