Need to change the clutch on my 200tdi disco, is it easier to remove the engine or the gear/transfer box? I will be on a driveway so no garage ramps etc are avalible.
Thanks Tony.

Hmmm, with no gear at all it's easier to pay someone to do it. Engine out needs a hoist, gearbox out needs a couple of very big trolley jacks.

I favour gearbox out as you do not have to disturb any 'fluid' pipes.
It is tight (not a lot of room behind the handbrake drum) and a transmission jack or a cradle on a trolley jack makes it easier.
