abs urgent help needed

hi urgent help needed my abs light is on
if i go over a large bump or put on full lock either way it will come on and stays on till i go over a bump again or on full lock again need to get it fixed some how before mot tomorrow is there a way i can turn the light of till i can get it done to get it through the mot

you can pull the fuse to the ABS - but then light will not come on at start up - depends if MOT guy notices it.

or you could look at your front ABS sensors - likely to be crud stuck to the sensors - 8mm socket, undo bolt, clean metal off sensor (magnetic - but don't use emery cloth - just wipe) and pop them back in and see if that sorts it ;)

i have done that also pulled the fuse then i have no brake lights
could i pull the wire connector of the abs pump would that stop the light coming on

Cut the wire to the abs light on the back of the dash, then re-wire through the low fuel warning light. It will come on when you put your key in the ignition, then go out (as long as you've fuel in the tank). One ABS self check complete and MOT pass ;)

thanks but dont want to mess about with the wiring like that would like to repair it properly
