help in a electrical object search please
« on: November 23, 2010, 16:23:57 »
I am wanting to do some wiring in my new van but I want to run a seperate fuse board to the manufacturers fuse board so it doesn't void any warranty!

What I am after is a fuse board where I have 1 main input from the battery and then through fuses which I can put spade connectors on to run out to different things. the closest I have got is this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/6-Way-Blade-Fuse-Box-Holder-UNIVERSAL-/130424677741?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item1e5deaa56d which only has inputs from each item not a main power in to each fuse. Any electricain be able to help me search please?

Solder links across the terminals on one side or use piggie back spade terminals and link them together, i used one of those when i did my roof spots on my Paj.

I was hoping there would be a product out there which would do the job I need as my soldering is rubbish unless you count making ball bearings good! lol

I never found one. You are doing exactly what I wanted in the back of the 90. Ended up piggy backing cables across the input side. Not neat, but it does the job.

I found this photo which I could interperate and use as the top part could run to my fuse block and would look neat ish. Just need to work out a way to fix it to the wall or floor.

i got a couple of small fuse boxes from a car boot sale, the seller recond they were brought for a caravan

HOPE THIS HELPS KEVIN
