No more off roading for me.

Sold my Vitara the other day, the last in a long line of 4x4's starting with a Fourtrak in 1994.

 It's just not worth the time or bother IMO, most of the local lanes are now RB's and the local clubs seem to be loosing members and the buzz i used to get has gone.

That's a shame, I feel the same sometimes, there seems to be a distinct lack of places to go without traveling hours and most the play days attract "boy racers" who just hoon around trying to get it on the roof.

Sorry to hear that, yes the places to play are getting less but my plan now is to get the beast kitted up and go overlanding

Join a local club an get into trialling. You then get to drive places you wouldn't otherwise.

But all too late. Sorry to hear you've given up. But the bug might just bring you back one day!

It's one of the reasons we thought about moving abroad, might still do that.

We do seem to be blessed in North notts by a slightly more understanding coucil, but at the moment I spend 10% of my take-home putting fuel in a Micra, I just can't afford to run a LR until I start to earn more money.
