200tdi injectors

Hi ,has anyone got a set of injectors i could try in my engine to determine weather or not my injectors are causing rough idling at tickover ,getting frustrated with problem now ,would be fantastic if someone was in the Bedford area so i could just swap some over from working engine one saturday or sunday ,tea coffea, biscuits provided !!!!!!! :cheesy: :cheesy:

If my 300 ones are the same you can try them. Where in bradford are you?

300 tdi injectors are not the same as 200's

th an ultrasonic clean.  I understand that Maplin sell one that can be effective.

If you suspect a dodgy injector, with the engine idling slacken off the fuel pipe to each injector one after the other.
If the tone of the engine changes when you have slackened pipe off, that injector is OK.
retighten the fuel line before doing the next one.
If the engine tone doesnt change when you have slackened off an injector then this is the faulty one.
Dont undo the fuel pipe all the way just enough to allow the diesel to come out. Bear in mind it is high pressure !! so wear safety specs.
