My disco is up for sale,
I wasn't going to sell it as it was going to be a new laner for us but I have stupidly been and paid well over the odds for a P38 DSE.
As you can imagine, I have had it 2 days and already found plenty that needs doing. The Disco has to go to fund the needed repairs for the P38.
It has tax and mot till July,
Its the non edc fuel pump 300tdi (so no issues with that),
Exterior is reasonable condition and interior is grey leather but passenger seat stitching has come away down one side, but is clean and tidyish,
The roof does leak although not often!
Tyres are all good
Tow pack fitted
Welding was done to the sills when I got it last year for the mot
The mileage shows 177000 but the engine was apparently changed at 96000, I have no proof of this but am inclined to believe it as the engine is marked up as a genuine land rover replacement and drives very well.
there are a few other niggles like: noisy alternator or p/s pump bearing
no central locking (doors all lock manualy)
being a standard 300 auto it is a bit sluggish to get going but will cruise all day when up there
