Ouch!

Yesterday I was out ragging some of the Colleges Motorsport Karts around Sittingbourne Kart track. Was well good, despite the weather.

This was a Subaru Air Cooled twin stroke kart we had on the day, instead of the usual honda one's we use

got some vids as well. might upload some on a different thread in the future. who knows.

Today I have mostly been beating my car straight again after daddy thought it would be a giggle to rip the front of his jimny off by using the front off side of the fender as an immovable object. Senile old div, its not like I have not parked in the same place for the last 4 months. Utter nonce.

I think the plan is twice a year once as a top up before winter salt starts and then again in the spring to get them free of salt as soon as we can. And that will be mostly focused on the jimny and the 90 as they work on the farm, the Benz and the terios seem to have a much easier life.

No not yet, I still need to do the engine bay, through the seat boxes from inside and also the inside of the footwells under the mats. That said I got through 15 litres of stuff yesterday and was starting to see things from the fumes.

Today I have mostly been making jigsaws (new job)... In a bit after food, time to bray seven shades of icky brown stuff out of the fuel tank on the 90 as the new one arrived today... Oh and if that's successful and there's still some light fit the last tree slider...

Deep joy all round...

Today I found a away to make better use of my boot. I'm looking to loose the lid other than for odd occasions and fit a floor over the wheel boxes. That way I can have a boot for dry stuff and a pickup for wet/mucky/big stuff. Need to get some phenolic ply. It's good this, it is only my fourth solution in 18months, god I must be short of sommat to do.
