I wish they just make him silk wrap her , suck the juices out and then leave to dessicate in the corner. Just like they ditched the boy wonder from Batman movies.

today was spent getting ready for the old man abandoning me for three days to go to the great yorkshire show. i mean its not as if it is happening in harrogate and i live within 5 miles of where he will be during the day. honestly old boy i can cope without you and if i cant i can always pop into town to talk to you jees.

that said i think tomorrow may include swapping my rear springs for some progressive disco ones see if i like them.

Well after a morning cleaning dangle berries from sheeps bottoms I have to say I have lost the will to play with the car; too wet too cold. Off home for a bath will see if that helps me want to fonish off the aft.

rain has driven me mad so treated myself to a new watch - ill be eating lean this month.

http://www.christopherward.co.uk/men/sport/c60-tri/c60-tri-sks.html

Wanted a half decent watch under 500 quid that had some soul rather than my g-shocks that I normally wear (and love).
This (well the 600 quid GMT version of it) is going back to Christopher Ward for warranty repairs. Started gain over 2 minutes a day   Time to test the CW legendary customer service. They have supplied a prepaid special Delivery bag so looking good so far.

today i mostly was angry at the great yorkshire show organisers for cancelling my day out.

beyond that there was  much munching on snacks, not ideal for a fat lad on a diet.

Diet. Pah. Just get outside and throw/kick a ball around with a couple mates for a few hours a week. Will drop off if your sprinting around, even if your throw up a little bit at first.

I need more friends down here, not been doing much myself, but at 18st I don't look bad either, so just need to do some more activities. might dig my mountain bike out of the shed for the weekend. despite it's annoying squeak (which everyone insists isn't annoying, which is even more annoying, or they say they don't hear it - Are you frickin' serious man?)

Today I've not done much. went to work, prepped a Merc for paint, changed components on some engines for a transplant of a 1.6 diesel into a camper. fixed many faults on an old passat only to find after fixing the gasket on the throttle body, changing the rocker gasket, and a leaking oil pressure sensor, that the inlet manifold also needs a new gasket and excessive air is causing a misfire in cylinder no 4 at idle.

then some grocery shopping. because I've been living on crisps, and bueno's and food at work lol, so now I got chicken roll or ham sandwiches for breakfast/lunch. hurrah. oh and some more crisps

Today I have mostly had sheep attempt the beat me up. All because I have being cleaning them of poo to keep the flies off them. Ungrateful is hardly the word.

In other news I have being arguing the case that a pickup with a lid is not as practical as a van to some good effect. Yay.

Today I was watching my old (american) football team play against my now local team (South Wales Warriors -vs- East Kent Mavericks) was a good and gritty game with plenty of injuries, aggression, tension and  of course... rain. Oh it hammered it down and the game was decided in the last 3 seconds of time remaining. Nail biting stuff. Me and my flatmate (we are both ex-warrior players, though he is now a maverick coach as well) were running the 'down' chains on the side line... best view and as close to the pitch as you can get without being a referee or player. Was good to see old faces and that and there's even a bit of video somewhere i believe, although I cannot find it right now... typical.
