I would say :Off-Road ability and adaptability : Defender 90Comfort and Cruising : Range RoverExpedition Base : Defender 110All-Rounder : DiscoveryFirst Car : Series 3Of course those are fairly sweeping generalisations, and will doubtless cause some discussion.
Everyone should start with a series. Make them relise what a true land rover is!! The they can go and get a nice bouncy coiler
Also, I'm going to court controversy and say I've never entirely seen the point of 90s - you still have the bulk and lack of economy of something pretty big, but without the load-carrying / people stuffing capability of a 110. Plus the handling is bouncy compared to the LWB LRs. To me it's like having a lorry cab but without a fifth wheel!

ok i'm biased but i'll go for discovery's comfort a good all rounder.but iam partial to a one ten though only partial dazza
Maybe not Land Rover items but:-Screwdriver, adjustable spanner, pliers and hammer
my vote goes for the golf umbrella - cheap to run, needing only an occasional wash, the keys never go missing and the men from Brussels and the ministry have yet to work out a way to take it off me. Oh and it keeps the rain off a treat too.
