The last few days we have been mostly...
« on: September 11, 2012, 20:40:22 »
Driving in Morocco...

Just back after 4 days of full on driving in Morocco with the Conti 4x4 Trophy....

What can I say, if your up for very long days, 40deg temps, sand storms, getting stoned (and no not the drugs) by the locals when you don't give them any bloomin BONBONS (sweets) or Stylos (pens) oh and driving Hummer H3's which spend most of there trip trying to overheat... Then apply... if not well its obvious! i

A fantastic experience, really amazing places, driving in the Sahara in a sand storm I will never forget, we drove one of the last special stages from the Paris Dakar before it was moved to Peru... Once I have gone through the 1300 pics mostly taken by Kirsty I will try and get some posted...

Some things never change ! we took 3 Rangies and followed the proper Paris/Dakar route accross Portugal to Morocco in 1988
and in Morocco we were mobbed everywhere we went by begging kids looking for chocolate /sweets and adults just looking to
rip us off for anything they could get their hands on,the schools and charities were looking for Pencils and PENS!

Hell no... its big test will be France, though by the end of the first day we were crying for the 90 and coil springs!
