E-bay Idiots
« on: March 19, 2013, 13:15:24 »
Why are there so many idiots on ebay, it used to be briliant to sell stuff on but now it seams to be full of idiots that just want to mess people about. Anyone else had similar experiences ?

I agree so many morons in one place ! I don't sell on it anymore for that reason and also its cheaper to put an add in the Auto Trader and the free adds papers,I only buy from people with trillions of feedback too. :wink:

That's very true. Also I've noticed that the prices have also gone mad, been looking at headlights for my Cherokee, brand new are £35/50 each, on eBay they want £50+ for scraped one.
Only thing eBay is any good for now ,is buying junk from Hong Kong / china.

I can only speak for myself and my recent experience has been the opposite to that.

Having bought and sold quite a lot in the last month, so far, nothing but good. :laugh:

Currently having an ok experience on there, as I sell stuff on the UK and USA sites, only issue I have found with the USA is Ebay charges 2 final value fee's 1st being for the sale price and a 2nd time on the postage, Easy way round it to to free postage...

I never really got into the swing of it to be honest. Had an account with them for about 7 years and still only got 13? feedback. Much rather buy something once seen, and fiddled with. If it ain't heavy I ain't buying it.

Is it me, or is E-Bay a bit pants at the moment?  seem to keep locking up or not displaying the item listing properly.

Biggest problem I find is that there are too many people making a business out of it, where it used to be a simple auction site.

Personally I'm fed up of seeing;
"+++L@@K+++  NEW IN BOX ### AMAZING ### SAVINGS   +++L@@K+++"
instead of
Name of item for sale, mint, in box

Since my last post, I've bough a few items, and had no actual issues with them so far, but mostly buying things like vintage stickers for my tool boxes and clothes for working in
