Today's Stupid Question

After browsing many of the Defenders for Sale, I have noticed that a 110 is considerably cheaper than a 90, with the exception of station wagons.

So if you were to take a 110 pickup, how much work would be involved shortening it. Especially if your not overly fussed about the pickup tub.

In simplisitic terms is it literally, disconnect brakes\electrics, shortern chassis and propshaft. Reconnect Electrics and brakes??

And I suppose if you want it even simplier just swap the PropShaft for one out of a 90 :D

Are the steering arms the same on 90's and 110's? I would have expected them to be different to allow for the difference in Ackerman angles. If they are different, then the steering rods are also likely to be different.

Depends on the vehicle... if it has a rear Salisbury axle then the shaft will be a different length to a 90 shaft.
