fob prob

hi
got a non functioning fob (i think)
not used disco 1 for a while
charged up battery and ready to use it and the fob doesn't seem to be working
quick check inside the fob and the battery holder looks ok
but nothing
prob is i need to use it soon
but it wont start because of the immobiliser  :angry: :angry:

any ideas

Clean the battery holder, then try a new battery, they don't last forever (my record is a week).  You will have to try it about 5 times in slow succession because it's a rolling-code.

Always worth programming a spare fob into the car, even if it's a mate's car.  You can reprogram the alarm to any 2 fobs once it's turned off.

I'm assuming it's a 1-button alarm however, I don't do 2 button (far too new-fangled for me)
