hi all can anybody tell me how to trace the history on my defender the number plate ends with fac and a few people have told me it could have history . its a 1990 defender 200tdi so it must have been a very early one .

I think the most thorough way is to contact one of the heritage centre organisations like Gaydon.
That would be my first idea.

ok ill look in to it . after some searching iv noticed lots of older camel trophy vehicles have ac at the end so im assuming the reg must involve the land rover factory in some way

Hi,
AC - only means that it was first registered within the Warwickshire DVLA area, most of the CT vehicles are the same as they were factory registered at Solihull. Though any dealership within the same area will have the same suffix.
