Green laning group near Tamworth/North Midlands/East Midlands

Hi folks,

I am new to off roading (ie. have no experience) and am looking to start green laning.

I am hoping there are some kind folks who I could join/meet up with for some simple green laning around the Tamworth area of Staffordshire or within an hour or so's drive. 

I have bought an already modified jallopy but could do with some advice on suitable kit to carry in the vehicle and how to use it wihtout losing limbs in the process!

Hi there newbie

There are still a lot of member who meet up locally, but the site is very quiet these days.  Have a look in the pub meet ups section and see if there's anything going on in your area, most greenlaning trips are ad-hoc and don't get posted on the site anymore.

Shame I know but most of the guys I know have a lot less time, money and some of us don't have off-roaders anymore.

I'm sure there are plenty of like-minded folks near you though.
