mpi to much fuel

hi guys
im new to mpis and my one uses way to much fuel anyone got any ideas why ?
also how many miles do you get from full tank of fuel pls

What mileage are you getting? Seem to recall my V8 managed 275 miles on a tank ......

MPis were never famed for economy, they have the 1.44 transfer box to get the engine revs up and they still have to shift over 2 tonnes of car.

It's only really the insewerance that comes in slightly cheaper.

20mpg as a ballpark would be considered ok IIRC
