An ex admin tried to kill it but it was later re-instated and here we are, I think that the six months that it was off-line caused many to go elsewhere, there are a few of the original ones left and we try to keep things ticking over but if no-one posts then obviously not much happens, shame really as this was a very vibrant site for years until it was taken down.

The bigget problem is Facebook.
It's not a patch on a good forum, but everyone seems to want 'now', rather than somewhere you can revisit a certain post, time and time again

It's a fair point, add that to the fact that most people I joned with/hung around with now have other "responsibilities" and the hobby is now in the hands of another generation who do things differently.

how many of us still have a decent 4x4?

I currently own a nissan terrano 2 as they are almost indestructible however the wife dosent agree with me labing it as she says its to good to lane, I would like a landy but drive only big enough for one jelopy
