Gas Discharge
« on: May 13, 2005, 14:28:23 »
Hi all,

I saw a Defender going round oxford the other day, but it had gas discharge lights instead of the standard halogen ones...
Sort of like the new disco...
they are the bowl like defenders have, but they had more jagged reflectors inside, and had a sidelight bulb at the bottom, and the gas discharge was up in the top half, and just below to one side was the other bulb.

sorry for the poor discription.. any ideas on how to get gas dischage lights into a 90?

Find a suitable nose, and pay through it!

Couldn't have been cheap, that.
Not much help, I know!

Cheers

You can get HID or gas discharge kits that fit in place of the standard H4 fitment bulb (gf has them on her golf) and the jagged edges you mention could be "angle eyes " like new bmw's have ....

any help ? :?:

oh yeah very [edit: naughty] bright !! be careful though as our ones dont have the twin element bulb so it only works on dipped, also the beam pattern is wrong too.....

still worth getting them but very expensive
