I've been on & off through the day but it has been quiet.

Ever get the feeling there's something they're not telling you?

been stuck under a defender most of the day trying to find out whats rattling/crunching/rubbing. Think I isolated it to the front propshaft and UJ. Couldnt fix it (no spares) so fixed some chequer plate to the bottom of the doors instead.

Next job is to take apart the dash to get at the lose screw that is rattling around in there and driving me nuts, then ....... etc etc

Well I spent most of yesterday removing cooling pipes and replacing crap sping clips with with propper hose clamps then thought I would take the grill off to give the rad a bit of a wash out so hopefully its a much happier motor now.

one last job for today scrub the front mats.......

strange evening last night, I got hijacked by the local landlord!!!!

First he made me drink his wares until I saw flashing lights behind the bar.

Then he locked the doors and made me and my missus stay there until 3.30 this morning.......  I am sure he turned the heating up or something cos we had to keep drinking just to stop dehydration!!!

AND now I dont know what was in the drink cos I seem to have missed most of the day, finding that someone seems to have stolen the whole morning and some of the afternoon!!
