Battery Light on when switched off
« on: May 22, 2005, 17:02:56 »
My battery light is on when the ignition key is off and goes out as soon as the key is turned on it goes out.

Can anyone explain what may be happening?

Generally when the ignition light stays on , then one of the diodes in the altenator is shot.
A good auto eleccie will fix it fairly cheaply.
