just received an email about a failed bank transaction....  :roll:

Unfortunately your transaction has not been authorized.
Please, specify your transaction number XXXXX dating 2 June 2005 with total
amount of 211.00 pounds.
You've specified the following email as reachable.
Please call us at +44-871-521-0146 for additional information.

i have taken out the transaction number just in case its  kosher but i think this is very suss

Yeah Id be suspect.  Most banks have now stopped e-mailing so unless its someone on the phone, be careful.

Even if some one calls you, the advice now is to take the call, if they need to log in to check, you hang up and call the bank back on its national number.

Every [!Expletive Deleted!] wants their hands on my TDi conversion fund  :evil:  :evil:
