I could be completely wrong here.  Wouldn't be the first time.

I believe Witham lots are sold as tender.  And I believe that tender means highest offer buys.  Unlike an auction, you don't know what other people have offered.

Like I say, I could be wrong.

looking at their prices .... surprise they sell anything  :shock:  10K for that 2a  :roll: , I though http://www.dunsfold.com/ was bad with 20K for a royal one  :shock:.
 But I know dunsfold sell way over the top to get funding for the charity plus it must be a money issue to always have a few on sale (tax relief?)
