Braking
« on: June 09, 2005, 21:17:10 »
So, I have been complaining about the braking on my 110.
A few have suggested tyre choice, but I'm using General Grabber TR's, supplied with new Defenders, so I overlooked it. It wasn't until I changed to my offroad tyres, Goodyear MT/R's did I notice a significant improvement in stopping power, so much so, I'm thinking of using them on road also.

Anyone else had similar experiences?

I changed the General Grabber TRs to Goodyear MT/Rs and the improvement on-road was amazing - just slightly noisier.

I use the MT/Rs for everything and not had a problem at all.
