Dimm battery light getting brighter
« on: June 25, 2005, 18:44:29 »
Hi

Cahrged my battery as it was dead and when I put it back in the car she started fine but the battery light was dim and then slowly got brighter. After an hour in the car the car didn't have enough juice to start again.

About a month ago fitted a new alternator and has been fine since then.

Does it sound like the battery is naff??

Hi

No the battery light is on dimly and then gets brighter only when the engine is running.
