hi all.......just wondering something. now as most of you know i have to sort out my floor in the boot and the rear body crossmember. the floor has a few holes init. and the crossmeber on the rear body will need replacing! i do intend to do this work. just a case of money.
now my question is would these pass an MOT like this...........are they structual.? i have discovered that i didnt really need to weld the front inner wings up as they would have passed. ....
these are things that i could do while on the road if it passes.....just a pain it being sat there doing nothing.
any help would be brilliant......

Crossmember is deffo structural....
Floor depends on if it is "Close" to a body mount, seatbelt mount, seat mount etc etc. you get the idea.

The bit where the floors normally go on Discos is not structural. But if it were to get really severe, it could become structural.

cheers guys. looks like im just gonna have to bite the bullet and get them done before the MOT. running on a tight budget of time. gotta use the disco to pull my caravan to cornawall in 6 weeks so i had better get on with it  ..... think my passat might be a little close to max pulling weight with our van so dont want to take any chances on route. its just the rear body crossmember that im really worried about doing........especially as a newbie to welding
