Last weekend I had just put some items in the tray under the centre sliding plate on the seat box. That is where I keep tyre inflater sealant amongst other things. The concealed tray was full to bursting and I left the Landy for a while and returned later. Realising that I needed to get into the passenger seat and the door was locked I climbed aboard through my drivers door and slid myself over to the passenger seat whilst putting my full weight on the centre sliding cover plate on the seat box.
I heard a gushing noise and a blast of white foam shot from between my legs  from under the cover plate soaked my trousers and coated all the dash & gear levers in white goo. In my late fifties you do not expect this kind of reaction.
What was it?
It was caused by a bolt poking through the cover plate that punctured the tyre sealant inflater aerosol can when I sat on it.
It gave me quite a fright. :(bigshock):
Big clean up job afterwards. Although it seemed to be completely water soluble. :D

And the moral of the story?

The lesson learned is always trim the end off a bolt if if it is just that little bit too long for the nut.
