"Car Nation" on BBC2 now looks at "how green is your car", I think we can safely say our choice of vehicle is not going to be shown in a good light

Of course it won't...

They will conveniently forget that my 18 year old Land Rover hasn't been replaced by something that took the equivalent of 70 years worth of driving energy to build at least 3 times....  they'll forget the pollution and resources used in the production of plastics, extraction of ores, transport and assembly...

But heck, why should we expect anything else

I've given up already, the programme starts off with a woman ignoring the road to turn round to her kid, I bet she'll be one of the most vehement "4x4s are dangerous" people.

not sure I can take another 4x4 slagging, I'm gonna watch dimbleby touring the country in a lovely 90 instead on BBC1

The media are only interested in people from London... they were all ready to get me on a Live TV debate with Ms Berry and her lot.... until they found out I  didn't live in London.

noticed how the guy in that little electic shoe box thing parked tail into the kerb. Some how looked like at least one of those parked cars (think was a red rover - to the right on the screen)was going to have a hell of a job getting out.
"oh I can park in spaces like this" I wonder if he thought that someone may have delibratly left plenty of room between cars for either a deliver or they where disabled and need a couple of extra feet to manover etc

Just laugthed when that mad hippy was writing her "letter to the trees"

I have one thing to say to these people

GET A LIFE

Full-on tree hugger that one! Bordering on mental I thought at times- still she made us all laugh with her letter to the tree spirits. All those bits of paper stuck to the fence about saving trees- I wonder if they pray for the spirits of the trees that the paper was made from......

Why can't they get anyone sensible for these programmes- the only 'normal' person on there was 'by-bass mum' everyone else was so far up their own ars* it was unbeleivable. Still wouldn't be 'interesting' telly then would it?
