During my afternoon out today I came across one of these up on the southern edge of Ilkley Moor.
I was following the old road (http://uk.multimap.com/map/browse.cgi?client=public&X=410500.999999508&Y=446000.955279286&width=500&height=300&gride=410399.999999508&gridn=445999.955279286&srec=0&coordsys=gb&db=grid&addr1=&addr2=&addr3=&pc=&advanced=&local=&localinfosel=&kw=&inmap=&table=&ovtype=&zm=0&scale=10000&out.x=7&out.y=11) over the Moor.

I thought about asking him for a go..

We have an Argocat at Langdale (and a Supacat also). They are great fun, especially the skid steering. :D
-
dad rolled an argo at the highland show many moons ago & i was drivin a supacat on the welsh hillrally,that was great fun till i gave the owner it back n we were bounding down a track in a welsh forest just of epynt ranges & it suddenly became grounded & took a sudden stop with us standing in the back :lol: :lol:

I think that's the only thing that let's them down. Ground clearance is practically none existent.
-
whats also i bit of a prob with them is if you go into ground thats already churned up by motors with big tyres(even 205's) they bog down easily but if runnin over fresh moorland they are great ,tried my hardest for 3 days to get it stuck,didnt manage cos they float aswell 8) ,xmob see the supacat u have what mk is it? is the ramps enclosed or open?
-
Absolutely no idea. :?
Does this pic help?
-
looks like a mk2 as the mk3 have the ramps enclosed
<more geek points>
