Set off for Billing on Saturday morning, everythings fine for a mile or so, then going down the sliproad onto the A45 at Rushden, changed up to third - and that`s the gear its been stuck in ever since. Got to Billing on Sunday for a quick look around and got a quote for a rollover bar, assuming there`s any money left after sorting the gearbox. Well heres hoping its just a linkage problem or something similar. Othewise it looks like a fair bit of my upcoming holiday could be spent lying in the gutter :( :(

how much sympathy do want?
you could run a poll

You can have a little sypathy to keep you going, but if it turns out to be a linkage then I demand the sympathy is returned (unused and in its original wrapping).
If it is a major problem then I will consider your request again.
Tim.

If it rains when you are in the gutter, I will give sympathy. But only if it rains!

Extenuating circumstances qualifying for sympathy:
1; the gearbox wees in your eye
2. the exhaust pipe drops flaky bits in your eye.
all other circumstances will be judged on merit.
