We have just bought a 90, it is a '85 model but on the log book it says it is a Land Rover 90 4C
What on earth is the 4C bit of this??
-
4 cylinder?
-
mmhh, yeeh maybe. That does make sense but not too sure. The insurance didnt know what it was for either......
-
4 would be gear box but sure thats 4 spd LHD !!!! and c would be 86 production year .... if thats the right ones :)
-
dont think that description fits.... the box has 5 gears and it was registered in 1985......
-
try www.paddockspares.com they have a chassis number bit at bottom of shopping area.
-
the DVLA put all sorts of rubbish on log books in the descriptions - I wouldnt worry abot it
we log books at work for our lorries showing descriptions like : VOLVO FM12 4 dr Saloon !
