HE HA HE HA HE HA ETC.

Post by: Bush Tucker Man on July 24, 2005, 15:38:33: It used to be a common theme in the 'Yorkshire Post' & 'Dalesman'[/i] magazine showing various repairs taking palce on the Pennine Way, Roseberry Topping & such.
It was always emphasised that the essential repairs to the paths were caused by walkers eroding them away.
Then, usually, the Ramblers Association (or such a body) was complaining about the use of mill-stone grit flags & how much they stood out, how it was restricting the width of the paths etc, etc.....

Make 'em walk in bare-feet, they'd tread carefully then :lol:

mine the sides of the path then see if they start to make the damage worse by walking off the path

It does not help that any material *has* to be airlifted.

Give them the alternatives
(A) put up
(B)shut up

Its different when the bobble hats cant access the land due to the damage they caused but supose they'll just blame it on other groups like mountain bikers,horse riders,off roaders etc
