Title: Spotty Disco
Post by: defuzz on July 24, 2005, 19:43:44
So I finally got around to fitting the spots on the front of my Discovery.  They're not wired in yet but I'm not in any rush, if I'm honest they mostly for cosmetics!!!

I fitted them direct to the bumper and straight through the plastic number plate mounting.  They look a bit uneven in the pic but they are OK in real life.

They seem a little low though, so I'll live with them for a while and see how they go, maybe I'll get a spot light bar if they don't work out.

Thought I'd already explained about the melted wire and the smoke from the steering shroud  :?:

Jayne has no idea as I mess with these things on a Saturday when she is in the salon

Defuzz, nice, but I prefer spots to have some sort of guard/mesh on. They look to bare otherwise. And have you removed your front valance  :?:

Do like your windscreen sticker arrangement though

No, had enough of that Richard, just glad it is all done and everything now works  :D

Have a few more idea's in the pipe line but it'll have to wait until we move, weekends are running out on us. The move has now been put back to August 26th, would you believe it Challenge Cup Final weekend, but no matter what I'm off to Cardiff.

it would be quite nice to have grills on the spots, especially as my main lights do, but these were just cheapo spots I picked up at an auto jumble.

I got me a nice new tow bar hitch as well with a a drop pin in the middle, for a fiver.

You've done a really good job with your picture, it looks like it is genuine to me.  =D>
