has anyone any thoughts on having regional meets for the mud club members in a pub somewhere for a natter?
other clubs do it. glass for instance
thought that there are an increasing amount of members in each area and the only time you chat to others is either thru here or on a windy/wet day laning or a quarry.
a pub is at least somewhere warm and can organise more events maybe?
what do you think?

Well I know there are a few from the Leeds and surrounding area's on here so yeah could be good idea.

Dunno, I'm sure there is enough of you Lancashire hot pots to have one over there, besides I have'nt a passport any more
Depends on numbers really and venue :?:

If wanting a single Northern meet then I can suggest a pub just off J21/22 of the M62, and the landlord is a Land-Rover owning GLASS member. :) Location is about 1/2 way for those of us around Preston and for those around Leeds. Also handy for the Manchester people.
The other alternative is to make it a Sunday evening meet preceded by a few hours laning in differing parts of the 'North'.
How often would people want to meet?
Monthly :?:
Bi-monthly :?:
Twice a year :?:
Never again after the first time :) :?:
