Title: 90 - Heater By Pass
Post by: Kenny on August 11, 2005, 14:20:32
I have removed the Heater from my 90 as the matrix needs replacing. I still need to use the car however. Can anyone see any harm in using a piece of copper pipe between the inlet and outlet hoses to allow the water to continue to circulate.

I'm sure that the heater system is a seperate one so you can either join the pipes together as mentioned or blank them off.

It'll not have as much cooling effect as the matix would take heat out of the water but it'll still be fine as long as you keep it about on the same level so as to avoid airlocks.
