Title: wahay 1 day to go and i,m on hol for a week

will the forum be cured by the time i get back? as i,ll be suffering severe withdrawal symptoms after being with SWMBO and the kids 24/7 :lol:

i,m off to Yorkshire for the week stopping near scarborough, having surfed the net there seems an awful lot of places to go etc, had a brief excursion near bridlington last year for a wedding and decided to go back this year for a better look round

Gods own county eh. You lucky so and so. Scarborough is nice, their is an offroad site at robin hoods bay, which is a very picturesque little place to visit anyway. Avoid Brid, thats where all the Chav scum go, its all dirty faced little scroats and shell suits. Go to flamborough instead, very close by.

I wouldn't dream of knocking it, its a nice place, loads of nice places nearby and i've nowt against the locals either, but it is a chav magnet.

Agreed dont stay in the town much, just handy for shopping, better towns inland anyway, good lanes to fill in too getting there :wink:
