Can anyone help i am thinking of spraying the series 3 just leaving the roof white.

Question is how much paint & thinners will it take to do the job.

I presume its a swb, in which case if you get a couple of litres of colour cellulose and 5 litres of cellulose thinners you will have a fair bit of colour left over for touching up and repairs in the future, that way you wont have the problem of colour not matching. you can also get some of the colour mixed and put into an aerosol.
Also remember if you are spraying bare ally then you will need an
etch-primer.

Was going to just flat the paint down and spray on that. Yes sorry forgot to mention it's an 88 swb.
Thanks for that is a good idea to keep some for any repair.

I have some days, but others days are not long enough. That's the trouble with working four on  four off. Nice when off though.

It depends what paint you use.  Cellulose is often 1:1 with thinners but I have some Synthetics that are 4:5 and some 2:3.  I also have some Gipgloss that's ready to spray.  You need to ask the supplier how to mix it.  You also need to experiment with your gun to find the best settings.

Dave, you should have my number, give me a ring if you're stuck.
