Just spent the weekend in Scotland, helping move Terranger back up. This happen on the way back home after covering just over 800 miles the center diff gave up (at least that what we think is wrong) Turtle goes to the doctors tomorrow morning to get checked out.

Was in Arbroath (if thats how its spelt) we went up on Friday afternoon taken 11 hours to do 466 miles with a couple f tops on the way, average speed was 50/55 as I was pulling a 13x10x6 trailer with Terranger furniture. We stayed over on Saturday and saw the sights and sampled some smokie (gonna go back and get some more of that :) ) then came back Sunday, we got back as far as Wolley Edge service about 135 miles from home.

Thanks all, the turtle will be back on the road very soon, on further investigation this afternoon, I not sure its the centre diff is the problem, but the doctors tomorrow will comfirm.

Not an engine for the lada by any chance ?

Things are not as bad as they first seemed, after a vist to the Doctors Turtle needs a little surgery to get sorted.

Front Prop rear UJ, nearside rear wheelbeering (Completely jamed on) and the excess oil is coming from the Oil filler (New cap required) and the sump plug (new plug) so all in all not to bad.

I'm praying the injector pump hasn't been damaged on mine.

Do a search on ERR1333 and you'll realise why I am in a state of panic (can't spell panicking. Doesn't seem right)

Think yourself lucky mate, I blew rear diff at Ribbsford last weekend, gonna cost me £740 fitted for a salvaged diff!
Turns out the Grand Cherokee's have a habbit of throwing the rear diff, am thinking of selling her once I have it repaired for somthign that costs less on parts and running costs. :D
